Another Fern & Fairie soaker is drying...

Well, here's another basic soaker ... finished but still drying. My kirtchener stitch was too tight but it'll be ok. Hoping to applique a little bear on the butt to make it cuter.

Ok, so let me explain what you're looking for...

See how on the left you see three ridges and about the middle of that row it goes down to two ridges...that's my short row - it's actually hidden in between one of those three ridges. I really think this is going to be a cute soaker!

First Short Row!!

Wow, I just finished my first short row in the round! I'm working up a pair of Turtle Butt soakers so it's a little different than the tutorials I've seen (they were all stockingnette stitch). It really wasn't too bad and I think it looks pretty good. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow...the flash on my camera is causing the natural colored yarn to wash out and you can't see the stitches.
